The Asian Society of Experimental Mechanics (ASEM) was established to promote interaction between academia, societies and organizations in the Asian Region and beyond. To achieve this a steering committee comprising three members from different regions in Asia has been formed. The committee supports National/International Conferences, Exhibitions, Seminars and Workshops with a view to promoting the Asian Experimental Mechanics Community. We also facilitate the introduction and developments of codes of practices and standards related to Experimental Mechanics
